Finally blogging again...

Well, I haven't been a consistent blogger since I started this blog BUT...that is all going to change! I was waiting to tie together a bunch of loose ends (which are still works in progress) but I decided what the heck I am just going to blog away and everything else will fall into place when it does. So here are some cards I have created. Enjoy!

Central Park - an ode to my time spent in New York. Another fun NY fact - I sold my first card in Union Square.

This is the first house my husband and I lived in together in NH. It was a summer cottage that was "winterized." Cute but chilly!

This card was inspired by the windmills (molinos de viento) found in the province of La Mancha in Spain. I love the way these windmills look and I just had to draw my own version. If you have ever read Don Quijote (or perhaps seen a theatrical version of the novel) these are the windmills that our hero fights believing they are giants.

This drawing was inspired during one of my graduate school summers. I needed a way to release after hours of studying and the theme for the art workshops (which I could only attend sporadically) was "jugando con la ñ" and so that's what I did!

This jade plant resides with an avid gardener and lover of good food, Ting. It is kind of like a bonsai plant, which is what I tried to capture in the drawing. In my opinion, the jade plant is a hardy plant. I have watched mine survive many mishaps since my mother gave it to me 10 years ago to bring to college.
