Baby Shower Invitation

My awesome friends P & A are having their first child, a baby boy, in November. I am so excited for them! They have a super cute, relaxing star and moon theme going on in their nursery so I created baby shower invitations that went along with that theme. A's shower was yesterday (it was a surprise) and such a blast! Now I can finally post about the invitation. It is the first one I have designed and it was a lot of fun to do. Stay tuned for more...

Inspiration in odd places!

Yes, the image is holiday themed (yikes!) and yes, I know it's too early to start talking about the holidays. Bear with me, continue reading and you'll notice that this post isn't really about the holidays but about inspiration.

The meaning behind this card...

My family owns a construction company so I grew up around dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators and other equipment that many little kids dream to see up close. Since I am always looking for unique things to draw I decided to do something a little different for my 2006 holiday card. I created this drawing in honor of my Dad, who started his own company, and my various childhood memories that include visiting job sites and growing up around big equipment.
